WhatsApp has started complying with the new IT rule that came into force in India from May 26. According to the company's recent compliance report, WhatsApp had banned more than three million Indian accounts, while the messaging platform was banned from June 16. As of July 31, 594 complaint reports were received. In its latest report released, WhatsApp said that 3,027,000 Indian accounts were banned on the app during the given time frame.
