NSW records 1,116 new cases as authorities urge people to get vaccinated

NSW has recorded 1,116 new local cases of coronavirus, with the majority detected in western and south-western Sydney. Doctor Ahmad Alrubaie from Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital says the LGA's of concern are doing well to bolster vaccination rates, but there are still many challenges in those communities as some people remain hesitant to get vaccinated.
