The videos show inmates repeatedly punching or kicking officers in the head and body, and charging them or throwing items in their direction, while in hallways or other areas within the expansive detention center.

"Broken bones, stitches, stabbings – officers are getting stabbed. Twenty six stitches to the face, broken orbital, broken noses," Boscio said, providing some examples of injuries officers have sustained. "We're being seriously assaulted."

Meanwhile, the number of inmates being held on violent felony charges has jumped by 23% in roughly the past year, Boscio confirmed.
