Which Brad Stevens is better, the GM or head coach? It took the NBA world by surprise when former President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge stepped down, and head coach Stevens stepped up.
The last few seasons of Stevens coaching the Celtics was a roller coaster ride, as it was believed that he lost the locker room. Although, in total eight years he coached the team to 3 Eastern Conference Finals. As a GM, he brought some defensive players to the team, extended Celtics core guys, and sign former sixth-man of the year candidate Dennis Schroder to what many consider a steal of a deal.
