Kerala government Tuesday decided to ramp up testing in districts where vaccination is relatively low, amid a constant rise in test positivity rate in the state. While the test positivity rate (TPR) at the national level is below 3 per cent for the last two months, it has been climbing up in Kerala – it touched 18.04 per cent on Tuesday against 10 per cent a month ago.

देश में पिछले कुछ दिनों से Corona के मामलों में गिरावट देखी जा रही है. लेकिन Kerala से डराने वाली खबर सामने आ रही है। केरल में एक तरह से कोरोना का विस्फोट हुआ है। राज्य में मंगलवार को 24,296 नए केस और 173 लोगों की मौत दर्ज की गई है. केरल में test positivity rate सोमवार को 15.63 फीसदी था जो बढ़कर 18.04 फीसदी पर पहुंच गई.
