Northern Alliance fighters have opened a front against the Taliban in Panjshir, Andrab, Baglan provinces of Afghanistan. These areas belong to Ahmed Masood, as well as Amrullah Saleh, the acting President of Afghanistan, who is also staying in Panjshir at present. The Northern Alliance is the same group that fought with the Taliban and the Russian army 20 years ago. The Northern Alliance has once again waged the biggest war against the Taliban, and the Taliban is now on its toes.
