Union minister Narayan Rane was arrested on Tuesday over his controversial remarks against Uddhav Thackeray in which he said he would slap the Maharashtra chief minister. Rane's lawyers moved Bombay High Court seeking quashing of the FIRs against him. However, a bench of the high court refused to hear the plea today itself and asked his lawyers to follow due process.
