Report finds citizens in outback town had their electricity and water cut off

Unreasonable, unjust and contrary to the law – a report has blasted the Coober Pedy Council for the way it provided essential services to its Aboriginal citizens. Some people in the South Australian outback town were disconnected from their electricity and told to get used to living in the dark, after accumulating huge debts they had little hope of paying back.
