Ubisoft asked Rez to create the announcement trailer for their beautiful and poetic game Child Of Light, including the design and animation of a reworked version of the famous Ubisoft logo.

We wanted to stay very close to the aesthetic look and universe of the game while bringing our own touch. We came up with this idea of using ink spills that would spread and reveal step by the step the game. We also created small cinematics snippets as the game was under production. We've animated concept-arts and captured the main character on a green screen to save costs and time animating it.

In only 4 weeks, the final result was beyond expectations. With the voice over, the music and sound effects, both client and us felt we found the best recipe to create this very moody and emotional piece, appart from what is done is the videogame industry! The trailer was successfully received across the world by public and press. The game got massive attention and sold very well!
