Mekatilili Menza’s ‘blood’ relatives resurface for the first time

A family from the Bamba area in Ganze constituency, Kilifi county has claimed they are relatives to the legendary Mijikenda Heroine Mekatilili Wa Menza, who led the Giriama uprising in fighting against the British colonials in 1913 and 1914.
