In Afghanistan, chaos erupts in its capital city Kabul after the fall of the Afghan government. The Taliban has taken control of the presidential palace after former President Ashraf Ghani fled the country.

Foreign Affairs Secretary Teddyboy Locsin says evacuations have begun and that efforts will continue until the last Filipino there is out.
