The Taliban fighters have entered the outskirts of Kabul, Afghanistan's capital city, tightening their grip on the nation as tens of thousands fled their rapid advance. According to the Associated Press, the Taliban and the Afghan government are holding negotiations for a peaceful handing over of the government to the Taliban.
