PM Modi Hails India's Olympic Stars On I-Day

Addressing the countrymen on the occasion of 75th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that athletes have made India proud at Tokyo Olympics and urged the nation to applaud their achievement. Moreover, PM Modi also made the announcement of the decision to observe August 14 as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day. The day will be observed, to honour the pain and sufferings faced by the people of India during the partition. Apart from this, the Prime Minister also said that the world’s largest COVID19 vaccination program is being run in India with complete vaccination of more than 54 crore beneficiaries till date.
