Funny Face is a 1957 musical film directed by Stanley Donen and starring Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire. Inspired by the 1927 Broadway musical of the same name.
Plot - Quality fashion magazine is looking for a new face that can make American women dream again. Thanks to the intuition of the photographer Dick Avery, the new dream is identified in Jo Stockton, a shy and intellectual librarian, who despises worldly life considering it only a game of falsehood. The young woman is still convinced by the energetic editor of the magazine, Maggie, and by Dick of her leaving for Paris, but in reality she is enchanted by the possibility of meeting her philosophical myth of her, Professor Flost.
