The security arrangements of Red Fort tightened in view of the alert of terrorist threat on the day of Independence. 7 layers of security arrangement are made around the Red Fort. Apart from this, with help of CCTV security forces will monitor the about the 5 kilometers area around the fort. NSG team will be stationed at about 2 dozen points near Red Fort.
