A major landslide occurred near Nalda village in tribal district of Lahaul & Spiti on Friday morning, blocking the flow of Chenab river in the region. As a result, it has posed a serious threat to the people of 11 villages living down steam in the area.The district administration has appealed to the people living in the lower areas close to the river to climb to upper heights to avoid any human disaster. Himachal Pradesh के लोग आए दिन आपदा का शिकार हो रहे हैं. Kinnaur के बाद अब Lahaul-Spiti में Landslides की खबर सामने आई है. यहां के लोगों के लिए इस बार की बारिश आफत बन गई हैं. लैंडस्लाइड के बाद पहाड़ी का एक बड़ा हिस्सा टूटकर Chandrabhaga River चंद्रभागा नदी में गिर गया. जिससे नदी का बहाव रूक गया. जिसके बाद से कई क्षेत्रों के गांवों के लिए बड़ा खतरा पैदा हो गया है.
