People said the Titanic was unsinkable but that proved to be untrue as the `unsinkable' ship hit an iceberg and sank in April 1912, killing more than 1500 people aboard the ocean liner. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's voyage, `Strictly Come Dancing' judge Len Goodman hosts this three-part documentary in which he reveals how stories of the Titanic's legacy continue to unfold generations after the tragedy and how new perspectives emerge from modern-day descendants. Among the highlights of the programme are Goodman trying his hand at riveting to experience first hand the blood and sweat that went into building the ship a century earlier and helping Titanic historians uncover the life of a stewardess who survived the disaster only to disappear afterward.

The Titanic was a British passenger liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on April 15, 1912, after colliding with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton, England to New Your City. There were 1,514 people that drowned in one of the deadliest peacetime maritime disasters in history. "The Unsinkable Titanic" sunk and today the story lives on in fans of those who love this great ship and it's history.
