Rajya Sabha passes OBC Reservation Bill unanimously

The Rajya Sabha has passed the Constitution (127th Amendment) Bill unanimously. It was passed in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. The Bill seeks to restore the powers of the states to make their own OBC lists, with 385 members voting in its favour and no member opposing it. However, Several MPs raised the issue of increasing the 50 percent limit on reservation during the discussion on the OBC Bill in the Rajya Sabha. Watch this video.
