DAP secretary-general has spoken out against the police action on Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor's critics.
He said the police should not waste their time on petty matters such as insults and if there is any need to take action, it can be done through the civil courts.
He added that he too had faced much vitriol during his time as Penang chief minister and later finance minister and this was part and parcel of being in power.
