Deputy jailer suspended after death of inmate Ankit Gujjar

Four Tihar Jail officials have been suspended by Director General (Delhi Prisons) Sandeep Goel after gangster Ankit Gujjar was found dead in his cell on the morning of August 4. Ankit Gujjar was lodged in Central Jail No. 3 in Tihar Jail in Delhi. The four officials who have been suspended include deputy superintendent Narendra Meena, two assistant superintendents and one warden. An FIR has also been registered against Narendra Meena.
