I would push, slap anyone who comes close to me in self-defence: Lucknow woman who thrashed cab driver

Priyadarshini, the Lucknow woman who was seen recently in viral video clips thrashing a cab driver, said she slapped the driver in her defence. Speaking to India Today Tv/Aaj Tak, she said that pushing and slapping someone might be wrong but she had no other alternative to protect herself. "If a man comes close to my body inappropriately, I first push him away and if he doesn't understand, I slap him. No man can touch a woman's body like this and I get angry at this. Should I wait for the police at such a moment or defend myself?" Priyadarshini said.
