'Talented photographer Mark Anderson filmed this fascinating thunderstorm moving over Payson, AZ on August 1, 2021.
"This beautiful storm was a late bloomer," Mark told us. "Originally, I was supposed to film two other storms east of town. This one wasn't even ‘on the radar.'"
According to the filmer, the storm in question grabbed his attention once it started "blowing up to the north, big time!"
Mark added: "This storm began on the Mogollon Rim above Payson, Arizona and by the time I had stopped filming, it was producing significant rain south of Payson, still well over 100 miles away."
