नीरज ने पहली बार भारत को फील्ड एंड ट्रैक में गोल्ड मेडल जिताया है। उनकी इस कामयाबी पर उन्हें लोगों से दिल खोल कर बधाई मिल रही है। बता दे की इंग्लैंड टेस्ट सीरीज़ खेलने गई भारतीय टीम को जब ये बात पता चली तब सभी ने उन्हें बधाई दी और BCCI ने नीरज चोपड़ा को इनाम के तौर पर नकद राशी देने की घोषड़ा भी करी। BCCI ने अपने ऑफिशियल ट्विटर अकाउंट पर जसप्रीत बुमराह की एक वीडियो डाली जिसमे बुमराह नीरज चोपड़ा को बधाई देते नज़र आ रहे थे। बुमराह ने पूरी टीम की तरफ से नीरज चोपड़ा को बधाई दी है।
