Snap lockdown covers Lake Macquarie City Council area

Residents in eight local districts across the New South Wales Hunter and Upper Hunter regions are now under stay-at-home orders as part of a snap seven-day lockdown. The measures cover the Lake Macquarie City Council area, and the Mayor Kay Fraser says there’s a sense of anxiety in the community.
