In a virtual interaction with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said it had been two years since Article 370 and Article 35A were abrogated in Jammu Kashmir. August 5 also marks one year since the "first step" was taken towards construction of a Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

PM Modi also hit out at opposition parties for stalling Parliament proceedings over the Pegasus spyware controversy and other issues.
