'Historic': PM Modi on Indian men's hockey team winning Olympic bronze

The Indian men's hockey team beat Germany 5-4 to secure a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, ended their 41-year dry run at the biggest sporting event in the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and congratulated the team on scripting history by winning India the first medal in men's hockey since 1981.

"Historic! A day that will be etched in the memory of every Indian. Congratulations to our Men’s Hockey Team for bringing home the Bronze," PM Modi tweeted.
