LGBTQ+ Community for, ‘Hurtful and Triggering Comments’.
On August 2, DaBaby took to social media
to explain and apologize for his homophobic
remarks at Rolling Loud Miami. .
In his statement posted to Instagram, DaBaby said
he felt “demolish[ed]” by others before he had a
chance to “learn from [his] mistakes.”.

want to demolish you before you even
have the opportunity to grow, educate,
and learn from your mistakes, DaBaby, via Instagram.
He said he needed
was “education” and
“kindness,” not for
people to “publicly
[work] against [him].”.
Having people I know publicly working
against me— knowing that what I needed
was education on these topics and

me privately to offer wisdom, education

DaBaby ended his message with
an apology to the LGBTQ+ community, saying his
comments about HIV/AIDS were “misinformed.”.
I want to apologize to the LGBTQ+
community for the hurtful and triggering
comments I made. Again, I apologize for

and I know education on this is important.
