Assam-Mizoram border dispute: Want permanent peaceful settlement, says Pijush Hazarika

Pijush Hazarika, spokesperson of the Assam government, said that the state seeks a permanent peaceful settlement of border dispute with neighbouring Mizoram. "We want that our land remains with us and their land remains with them. The Centre should come up with a solution and we will welcome that," he said. Hazarika also appreciated the Mizoram Government for withdrawing FIR against CM Himanta Biswa over the violent border clash.
