Top virologist Gagandeep Kang has said that schools can be opened with proper Covid rules in place. She said vaccination of teachers and staff should be done. Ventilation should be maintained along with masking, testing, and monitoring of symptoms. If the situation does not change much, the third wave of Covid-19 infections will be a "hill, if the second wave was a steep mountain," she said.
