The Indian women's hockey team has made it to the semi-finals of Tokyo Olympics by defeating the Australian team. For the first time, the Indian women's hockey team has managed to reach the semi-finals. Indian women's hockey team beat Australia 1-0 and this only goal was scored by Gurjit Kaur. Union Ministers Anurag Thakur, Kiren Rijiju congratulated the women's hockey team.
