The kind of performance that was expected from the Indian players in the Tokyo Olympics, they have failed to do so. What has disappointed India the most is the shooting. India at least expected 2 medals in shooting. Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary were considered to be strong contenders for the medal before the Olympics. Manu Bhaker has attributed his defeat in the Olympics to his former coach Jaspal Rana. Jaspal Rana was the person who asked Manu to withdraw from the 25m shooting event.



टोक्यो ओलंपिक्स में भारतीय खिलाड़िओं से जिस तरह के प्रदर्शन की उम्मीद लगाई जा रही थी वह ऐसा करने में नाकामयाब रहे है। भारत को सबसे ज़्यादा निराशा हाथ लगी है तो वो शूटिंग। भारत को शूटिंग में 2 मेडल की तो कम से कम उम्मीद थी। मनु भाकर और सौरभ चौधरी को ओलिंपिक से पहले मेडल का प्रबल दावेदार माना जा रहा था। मनु भाकर ने ओलिंपिक में अपनी हार की वजह अपने पूर्व कोच जसपाल राणा को ही बया है। बता दे की जसपाल राणा ही वो इंसान थे जिन्होंने मनु को 25 मीटर शूटिंग इवेंट से नाम वापस लेने को कहा था।
