From being a tracker in Atimonan, Quezon, he chose to shift and train as a rower at the age of 15. 4 years later, at 19, he became a SEA games gold medalist for sculling. And now at 21, he represented the country in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. This is Cris Nievarez's journey to the Olympics.
