Maharashtra ED once again summon Anil Deshmukh in extortion

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has again summoned former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. He has been called for questioning on Monday in the money laundering case. Anil Deshmukh has not even got relief from the Supreme Court. Notably, Anil Deshmukh was requested to avoid arrest. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has launched the biggest ever search operation against former Anil Deshmukh in the case of extortion and corruption. Along with this, the CBI has also carried out raids on the locations of many police officers. CBI officials have conducted search operations at 12 places in Maharashtra.
