Anwar: Allow more days for special Parliament sitting

The special Parliament sitting should be extended beyond five days so that MPs may discuss important issues about the Covid-19 pandemic, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Opposition leader said that in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (July 29), and in reply, Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun said it is not within his power to extend the time, that it is up to the minister giving the briefing in Parliament whether or not the time should be extended.
