Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led cabinet in its meeting today (July 28) cleared amendments to the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC) Act. The proposed amendments will provide a solution to the biggest issue of customers having zero access to their funds for a long period till the RBI lifts the curbs on such banks. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that even if there is a moratorium on the bank, depositors will get their deposit insurance amount within 90 days.Watch video,

Modi Govt ने बैंक ग्राहकों के हित में बहुत बड़ा फैसला लिया है. वित्त मंत्री Nirmala Sitharaman ने बताया कि अब बैंक बंद होने की स्थिति में खाताधारकों को 90 दिन के अंदर 5 लाख रुपये तक की अपनी राशि हासिल कर सकेगा. करने की सुरक्षा देने को लेकर DICGC कानून में संशोधन के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी है. वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने कैबिनेट की बैठक के बाद ये जानकारी दी.
