Army soldier martyred in landmine blast in LoC

One Indian Army personnel was killed in a mine blast along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Mankote sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on Friday night. Sepoy Kamal Dev Vaidya, 27, was on operational duty in Krishna Ghati Sector of Poonch district on Friday night. While moving during duty, he was critically injured in an accidental mine blast. He was immediately rushed to the nearest medical facility but later succumbed to his injuries. Sepoy Kamal Dev Vaidya belonged to Ghumarwin village in Himachal Pradesh's Hamirpur.
