im not a fan of this play through I'm actually going all the way back to watching the dead space playthrough he's sort of lost his funny talent. i like the classics.

Fine, then I'll say it. I'd say he went 'all in' when he turned posting gameplay on Youtube into a full-time job. He's totally in it for money, because it's the only source of income he's got. Don't fool yourself into thinking he's some gaming altruist or anything.
And those 'classics' you speak of -- it wasn't work back then. It's hard to be funny when you've got that 2:30 feeling while gaming. Then again, he doesn't need to anymore; people eat this stuff up, regardless of content.

Phil, you gotta use shield or speed when you see a vision.
For example, if there's a roman number beside the attack name, it symbolizes the level shield needs to be at for it to block the attack. So that means, use shield.
If there's not a roman number beside the attack name, use speed.
That way, you can completely avoid those really damaging moves.
The reason you lost that battle was that you didn't pay attention enough during the visions.

I agree. and besides not all games warrant comedy. Silent Hill 2, for example, shouldn't have funny commentary. It just wouldn't feel right. It's fine if it has a little.
In my opinion Silent Hill 2 is phil's best playthrough this year.

i think all flying monsters are immune to break, thats why it said immune. even in a chain attack they cant be afflicted with break. also monado buster is a waste fighting monsters, you're better
