The newly appointed state Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu arrived at Punjab Bhawan to meet Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh over a cup of tea. After being at loggerheads for a long time, the meeting today may mark the end of the infighting within the state Congress unit.

Meanwhile, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi accused the Central government of using the Pegasus spyware as a weapon against the Indian state. Addressing the media on Friday, Rahul Gandhi said, “The Prime Minister and Home Minister have used this against the Indian state and against our institutions. This has to be investigated and the home minister must resign.”
