Nonstop100: 6,000 rail passengers stranded in Konkan

Around 6,000 passengers were stranded as train services on the Konkan Railway route in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri district were suspended on Thursday after a river overflowed following heavy rains in the area. While nine trains have been regulated due to disruption of services on the route. Road and rail traffic has been badly affected in many parts of the state including Mumbai due to the rains. The administration has engaged NDRF teams for the rescue operation. While there is a possibility of heavy rains in the next 48 hours in Vidarbha including Nagpur, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert. Watch this episode of Nonstop 100.
