Pooja hails from Atta village in Noida. She was very smart in studies since childhood, from the beginning of her studies till her graduation, she always came first. In the year 2010, she took the UPSC exam for the first time but failed.

Noida के Atta village की रहने वालीं Pooja Awana 22 साल की उम्र में IPS Officer बन गई थीं। और इन दिनों Rajasthan Police में DCP पद पर तैनात हैं. UPSC की परीक्षा सबसे मुश्किल परीक्षा मानी जाती है। जिसे पास करना इतना आसान नहीं होता। कुछ लोग कई प्रयासों के बाद भी इस परीक्षा को पास नहीं कर पाते। लेकिन नोएडा की पूजा अवाना ने महज 22 साल की उम्र में ये परीक्षा पास कर ली।
