Heavy rain lashed parts of Mumbai in the wee hours of July 18. The minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded at 25°C and 31°C respectively. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted ‘Moderate to Heavy rain or thundershowers in the city and suburbs with the possibility of very heavy rainfall at a few places’.
