Amid the threat of a possible third wave, the Supreme Court has asked the Uttar Pradesh government to reconsider its decision of allowing the Kanwar Yatra. The bench of justices BK Gavai and RF Nariman said that massive gatherings threaten the fundamental rights of the people and therefore the government should reconsider its decision on it.
