Ashes of COVID victims are still waiting for immersion

Several people lost their lives in Rajasthan during the COVID-19 pandemic. The relatives of the deceased have applied for free travel to Haridwar for immersion of ashes under the state government’s Moksh Kalash Yojana. But thousands of urns are waiting to be taken to Haridwar as Uttar Pradesh has still not given permission to buses to go through its route.
