Political parties met with the president yesterday, to discuss the ongoing unrest. The DA’s John Steenhuisen was in that meeting. Among other things, he's calling for an increased SANDF presence in KZN, a greater joint command centre for coordination, as well as political leaders being physically present to help calm tensions in communities.
