The delta variant of Kovid-19 can bypass natural antibodies and antibodies made from vaccination. Break-through infections have been found in 10% of healthcare workers in Delhi who already had antibodies. That is, one out of every 10 workers got infected even after the vaccine. The delta variant infected their antibodies by dodging. Not only this, there has been evidence of Delta infection even after both reinfection and vaccination. This has been revealed in a study conducted at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), Delhi Government. Dr. Ekta Gupta, who led the study, said that this study is showing that the delta variant is highly infectious and has the ability to bypass antibodies made from both types. Although the severity is less in such people, but people should continue to follow the Kovid behavior even after vaccination, so that other people do not get infected due to them. Dr. Ekta told that when infection occurs after antibodies, it is called breakthrough infection. The surprising thing in this study was that even in a single dose, the infection was found even after both the doses and those who took the first infection and then the vaccine also got infected. That is, antibodies were found to bypass the variant of Kovid at all three levels.

कोविड-19 का डेल्टा वेरिएंट नेचुरल एंटीबॉडी और वैक्सीनेशन से बनी एंटीबॉडी को बाईपास कर सकता है। दिल्ली में 10 पर्सेंट हेल्थकेयर वर्करों में ऐसे ब्रेक-थ्रू इन्फेक्शन मिले हैं, जिनमें पहले से एंटीबॉडी थी। यानी हर 10 में से एक वर्कर वैक्सीन के बाद भी संक्रमित हो गया। डेल्टा वेरिएंट ने इनकी एंटीबॉडी को भी चकमा देकर संक्रमित कर दिया। यही नहीं, रीइन्फेक्शन और वैक्सीनेशन दोनों के बाद भी डेल्टा के संक्रमण के सबूत मिले हैं। दिल्ली सरकार के इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ लिवर एंड बिलियरी साइंसेज (ILBS) में हुई एक स्टडी में इसका खुलासा हुआ है। स्टडी की अगुआई करने वाली डॉ. एकता गुप्ता ने कहा कि यह स्टडी यह दिखा रही है कि डेल्टा वेरिएंट काफी संक्रामक है और यह दोनों प्रकार से बनी एंटीबॉडी को बाईपास करने की क्षमता रखता है। हालांकि, ऐसे लोगों में सीवियरिटी कम है लेकिन लोगों को वैक्सीनेशन के बाद भी कोविड बिहेवियर का पालन करते रहना चाहिए, ताकि उनकी वजह से दूसरे लोग संक्रमित नहीं हों। डॉ. एकता ने बताया कि एंटीबॉडी के बाद जब संक्रमण हो जाए तो उसे ब्रेकथ्रू इन्फेक्शन कहा जाता है। इस स्टडी में चौंकाने वाली बात यह थी कि सिंगल डोज वाले में भी संक्रमित मिले, दोनों डोज के बाद भी संक्रमण मिला और पहले संक्रमण फिर वैक्सीन लेने वाले भी संक्रमित हो गए। यानी तीनों स्तर पर एंटीबॉडी को कोविड का वेरिएंट बाईपास करता हुआ पाया गया।
