Margot Robbie Needs a ‘Break’ From
‘Exhausting’ Harley Quinn Character .
Margot Robbie, who’s portrayed the
character of Harley Quinn several times over the
past five years, might need a break.
She spoke to ‘Entertainment Weekly’ about the
role in June, confessing that the “back-to-back filming” of Quinn’s character was “exhausting.”.
It was kind of back-to-back filming [Birds
of Prey] and filming [The Suicide Squad], so
I was kind of like, oof, I need a break from
Harley because she's exhausting, Margot Robbie, to 'Entertainment Weekly'.
As of now, Robbie is not set to portray
Quinn in any yet-to-be-filmed DC movies.
Her character will appear on-screen
next in ‘The Suicide Squad,’ which arrives
in U.S. theaters on August 5.
Robbie went on to say that although she is unsure
of when she’ll be playing Quinn again, she is “just as
intrigued” by the possibilities as everyone else. .
