Italy's triumphant football team returned to Rome in the early hours of Monday (July 12) morning buoyed up with adrenaline after winning the Euro 2020 final in England.
A plane carrying coach Roberto Mancini and his Azzurri touched down at Rome's Fiumicino airport at dawn after Italy won their first European Championship title since 1968, a success widely seen as a rebound from the heartbreak failure of not qualifying for the last World Cup.
