Clay pot chicken is a dish that unites aunties, night owls, partygoers and delivery workers in the immigrant city of Shenzhen. Lü Baochuan discovered this dish 23 years ago and has been cooking it at his restaurant since. To him, it's a symbol of the city’s vibrant character.
