The Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma on July 11 assured that the state government is ready to discuss and settle the border problem with Mizoram. He said, “There were some explosions within the territory of Mizoram. It is on Mizoram Police to investigate. There was no explosion in Assam territory. We are not going to take an inch of land from Mizoram. I am willing to discuss and settle the border problem with Mizoram.”
