Kerala, Maharashtra records hike in COVID-19 cases

This year February when the second wave of covid was picking up pace. Kerala reported zero Covid cases for an entire week. Today it accounts for more than 30% of daily covid infections in India. On July 8th, Kerala reported 13,722 fresh cases with a 7-day average positivity rate of 10.41%. After Kerala, Maharashtra sees a hike in COVID-19 cases. Though the strict lockdown restrictions have helped to bring down the daily number of cases, it hasn't gone down as fast as the rest of the country. Watch the video to know more.
